Insurance recovery matters, in which we concentrate our practice, are done on a contingency basis, meaning that you will only have to pay a fee if you recover money from your carrier. Most firms charge fees for this service, we don't. We also assist our clients with all NJDEP issues including oil tanks, litigation to recover cleanup costs, insurance recovery, permits, Spill Act Matters, Oil tank law, ISRA, penalties, etc.

How will I be charged for the work you do on my claim?
Insurance claims are handled on a contingency basis, you are only responsible for paying for large out of pocket costs (not telephone calls, faxes or postage). You will have to pay one-third of any money you receive from the carrier(s). If you receive no money, you will owe nothing. If your claim requires litigation (which seldom occurs on these smaller claims) another agreement will be created.
What if I can’t find my policies?
We will work with you to find your policies and any other insurance information that is necessary to properly bring your claim.
I have already spoken to my agent who tells me I don’t have insurance coverage for environmental claims. Is there anything I can do?
No offense to insurance agents, but most have no knowledge or understanding of environmental insurance recovery. That is why you need to retain a knowledgeable experienced attorney.
What kinds of costs are covered by insurance if you are able to get me coverage?
Costs such as soil cleanup, groundwater monitoring and cleanup (if necessary) as well as other related NJDEP required costs are typically covered.
